This simple but safe and effective switcher allows the connection of up to ten speakers to any stereo, even those without built-in speaker switching ability. Just one pair, all five pairs or any other switch combination can be chosen. Power rating (per channel) is 50 watts, so small and moderate power amplifiers are safe to connect. Assuming 8Ω speakers and dependent on the selection chosen, the connected stereo will see a load never lower than 4Ω or higher than 16Ω. This model provides overload cutoff protection against shorts; nonetheless never make or change speaker wiring connections while your stereo is on!
