This
page answers all manner of questions about fit and usage, and
is a MUST-READ for Revox, Studer, Akai and Otari owners... |
|
These
are BRAND NEW (custom-made for us) clamp-type NAB reel
hub
adaptors that fit Pioneer, Akai, Tascam, Fostex, Teac, Tandberg,
Technics,
Revox
and other 1/4" reel-to-reel decks that take 10.5" reels and have
screw-type or spring-loaded reel retainers. They are shown above
mounted on a Teac
A-3300SX (screw-type) and a Revox A77 (spring-type). These are EXACT
duplicates of ones once supplied by Teac with many of their models; note
the
comparison
picture above
showing the Teac original on the left and our version on the right.
Several other manufacturers once made similar one-piece adaptors,
including Pioneer, Sony, Akai and Tandberg. Our hubs have no removable
or
moving parts and are virtually indestructable. This is a "reel" hard
item to
find,
but we have them! Some machine and reel combinations may require the
use of shims; click HERE
to see how to effortlessly make your own using materials you likely
already own!!!
